Quran Translations in Various Languages Presented at Tunisia Int’l Book Fair

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Translations of the Holy Quran in different languages are among the books presented at Tunisia’s 37th international book fair.

The cultural event got underway in a ceremony in the North African country’s capital of Tunis on Friday with President Kais Saied in attendance.

Organized by Tunisia’s Ministry of Culture, the book fair will run for ten days.

It has been attended by more than 320 publishers and cultural institutes from 22 countries, putting over 500,000 titles on display.  

One of the pavilions of the book fair belongs to the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance that has showcased copies of Quran in different sizes.

There are also 77 Quran translations in different languages as well as Qurans in braille for the visually-impaired.

The pavilion will gift thousands of copies of the Holy Book to visitors during the ten-day event.

Tunisia is a country in the Maghreb region of North Africa.

The majority of Tunisians are Muslim and the constitution of Tunisia states that the country’s religion is Islam.
